Together with the Embassy of Ukraine we created the worlds largest energy fundraiser for Ukraine. The campaign raised 211 million SEK in only 70 days.
Problem
The attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure left millions without power and heat. Generators, transformers and other energy equipment were urgently needed to keep homes, schools and hospitals running through the winter.
Solution
Our solution was Keep Ukraine Warm. The campaign was built on one simple fact: when the power goes out in winter, it gets as cold indoors as it is outside. This made Ukraine’s energy crisis relatable to people in Sweden and helped mobilise the public and businesses to fund urgently needed energy equipment.
Impact
Keep Ukraine Warm mobilised Swedish businesses and the public on an unprecedented scale, raising SEK 5 million in just four minutes. The campaign delivered critical energy equipment across Ukraine, helping hospitals, schools and other essential services maintain power and heat through the winter.
