Ulrica Messing joins Prime as senior consultant. She has been State Secretary for ten years and has held four different minister assignments. Since Messing left politics she has engaged in managing and developing businesses, both as an entrepreneur and as a member of the board.
– Ulrica’s experience stretches from politics to entrepreneurship. It’s a golden combination for us and our clients, not least as we are drawing nearer election year and Swedish politics are facing an intensive period, says Jonas Palmqvist, COO and partner at Prime. We are expanding our competences to stretch from worker’s movements to the moderate part of the scale.
Ulrica Messing joined SSU at an early age and was elected to parliament in 1991. Five years later she became the youngest State Secretary in Swedish history. Throughout the years, messing has served as Chairwoman of the Defence Committee, Minister for Infrastructure, Minister for Labour Law and Equality, Minister for Integration and Youth and board member of the Social Democratic Party.
– As a consultant I look forward to contributing to a positive development of both public discussion and business. We live in exciting times where increasing numbers of people want to combine commercial use with societal use, says Ulrica Messing.
Outside her assignment at Prime, Messing is a member of the board at Länsförsäkringar Liv, real estate company Wallenstam, Bergvik skog, Astrid Lindgrens Värld and commissioner at Anna Lindhs Minnesfond.
